Content:

Participants will learn what every school employee should know about the Auxiliary and Student Activities Funds.

 

Who Should Attend:

This workshop is geared toward all district level employees as well as school support personnel, faculty and administrators who are responsible for overseeing auxiliary and student activities accounts.

Topics:

  • Rules, requirement policies and procedures in handling student activities monies
  • USFR Compliance
  • Developing a Policies and Procedures Handbook for Sponsors
  • Do’s and Don’ts in Being a Class Sponsor
  • Record Keeping and Importance of Internal Controls
  • Accounting for Athletic Receipts and Expenditures
  • Accounting for Bookstore receipts and expenditures
  • And More!


 

 

Cancellations must be submitted in writing five business days prior to the workshop to qualify for a refund (NO Refunds for “NO SHOWS”). Please mail invoice and check to: AASBO, 2100 N. Central Ave., Suite 202, Phoenix, AZ 85004. For registration questions, call AASBO at 602-253-5576. Seating is limited due to room capacity. Register early to ensure availability. Registration ends the Friday prior to the workshop.

CAC Information:
This class qualifies for .5 CAC college credits for an additional cost.
Those wishing to receive CAC Credit MUST:

If a first-time CAC student: Register with CAC online to obtain a student identification number and notify the AASBO office at least ONE WEEK prior to the class or workshop to qualify for credit.

If a returning CAC student: Notify the AASBO office at least ONE WEEK prior to the class or workshop to qualify for credit.
